Ohio artist Diane Arthurs' career took a creative turn in the early 90s, when she began creating cross-stitch designs for a needlework company. This opened the door onto a whole new world of creative designing for consumer goods.
Whereas some artists have one style and one style only, Diane is equally at home doing a wide variety of themes, from the whimsical characters she developed for her "feel good" country designs (which first attracted the attention of Crazy Mountain) to the traditional warmth of her popular Tuscany Collection.
"I'm constantly doing new things and challenging myself and loving every minute.
Once I'm presented with a theme, be it snowmen, scarecrows, or wine and cheese,
I thrive on applying my talent to come up with
an idea and just going with it."
