Born ninth out of ten children on a small farm in eastern Iowa, Jo Moulton's paintings reflect the simplicity of all things country.

A self-taught artist, Jo paints primarily with watercolors and acrylics. Her strength lies in an ability to paint a wide variety of styles, and no subject is too difficult for her. Understanding that what's licensable and what sells as art are two different things, Jo has developed a market-driven instinct that is influenced by trends as well as style.

"Be it in the beauty of woodland flowers, the quaint countryside of the heartland, or star-filled night skies only interrupted by the fireflies' glow, I always return to my roots for the subject of my paintings. I don't ever want to let go of those gentler times."
