Tina Ledbetter is a self-taught artist with a bubbly personality that is reflected in her work. Artistic talent runs in her family, as her mom did oil paintings before starting to hand paint and sell ceramic Christmas houses. Tina, with a young family at the time, was beginning to miss her own creative life. So she took home mom's left-over paints and painted pictures of her kids on their furniture. Friends and neighbors started asking her to do the same for their kids, and she hasn't stopped designing since.

"I love what I do. It's very exciting for me to see my happy characters come to life. I think of them as being part of one family and would like everybody to have the same feeling toward them. It's kind of like sharing a smile with people."
